What is a syllabus ?


      A syllabus is an outline and summary of topics to be covered in an education or training course. It is descriptive. A syllabus is often either set out by an exam board, or prepared by the professor who supervises or controls the course quality. It is given to the students at the first class session so they are clear with the objectives of the course, dates, exams , materials for the class , etc.

Here are some types of Syllabus:
-          Notinal – functional
-          Grammatical
-          Lexical
-          Situational
-          Text-based
-          Learner-generated
-          Mixed
-          Online course
